Safe2Say Something is a program designed to prevent youth violence before it happens. Through this program, youth and adults may learn to recognize possible warning signs that a youth might be a danger to themself or others. Safe2Say Something creates a safe, confidential environment for people to report these warning signs.
First, an anonymous tip is submitted through the Safe2Say Something system.
Next, the crisis center reviews, assesses, and processes the submission.
Then, the crisis center sends the submission to school administration and/or law enforcement for intervention.
If necessary, Safe2Say's crisis center can anonymously contact the tipster through the app.
